Frequently Asked Questions

Is 8NU-K712M-40-00 a genuine Yamaha part?

Yes. 8NU-K712M-40-00 is the Yamaha part number for the Graphic 12. This printed graphic restores the original styling where the factory graphic has faded, peeled, or been damaged.

Why is there a 12 in the name Graphic 12 (8NU-K712M-40-00)?

Yamaha adds numbers to parts that share a name so each one can be told apart. The 12 does not indicate quantity, so order by the full part number 8NU-K712M-40-00 rather than by name.

Why replace the Graphic 12 (8NU-K712M-40-00) instead of reusing the old graphic?

Graphics such as the Graphic 12 (8NU-K712M-40-00) are adhesive-backed and generally cannot be reapplied once removed. A new 8NU-K712M-40-00 restores a clean factory finish where the original has faded or peeled.
